Sectored LEACH (S‐LEACH): An enhanced LEACH for wireless sensor network

Due to the importance and need of wireless sensor networks in several applications, lots research has been carried out. The utmost challenging issue is regarding energy depletion network such that reducing consumed leads extending lifetime. most popular routing algorithm for purpose LEACH. Regrettably, it some limitations, this work produces Sectored-LEACH, which proposes solutions these limitations. main idea about splitting communication area into sectors decrease transmission distance, hence overall energy. Results show a total energy, an increment lifetime compared with original LEACH other four algorithms Q-LEACH, I-LEACH, RCH-LEACH ME-LEACH. S-LEACH best results comparison performance metrics parameters.
